Social Media Influencer – Your Review Matters.
My heart did a little flip, and I closed and reopened my eyes to make sure….
No, it wasn’t a little orange flag. No, it wasn’t that all the reviews so far for Healing of the Heart are glowing reviews.
It was a simple repost on social media.
Okay, if you ever feel your reviews and the images you put with them don’t matter, consider the power and impact your reviews of Christian Fiction can make. Here is an example of the impact of ONE review:

“Very touching novel of faith, strength and perseverance. 5 Stars”
- Robin wrote a simple review.
- Mesu Andrews follows Robin on Twitter.
- Mesu shared the review.
Mesu Andrews (@MesuAndrews on X and IG) is a Biblical Fiction Author and a Christy Award-winning author of Isaiah’s Daughter whose deep understanding of and love for God’s Word brings the biblical world alive for readers.
Mesu has 3,516 followers on her X (formerly Twitter) account (as of the writing of this blog).
Why is that significant?
As a leader in Christian Fiction, Mesu’s followers care about biblical truth through stories. Each of those people has an account likely filled with non-believers needing to hear God’s word. If they share the word…well, you get the picture.
ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) reader Robin Willson started the ball rolling by reading Healing of the Heart, writing a review, and sharing on social media with these words: “Very touching novel of faith, strength and perseverance. 5 Stars.”
I doubt when she wrote those words she thought of who might read them. She was simply being a courteous reader and leaving a heartfelt review. That’s all any author wants because…
God will do the rest.
Your review matters. It doesn’t have to be reminiscent of a school book report or full of flowering words you wouldn’t use in normal conversation. Just be honest and sincere. And adding a nice picture can make it even better. Here is what Robin created:
