Want to join
my launch team?
I am now accepting applications for downloadable ARC copies (through Bookfunnel*) of my newest standalone novella, A Place to Belong, my second COMPANION CHRISTMAS NOVELLA in the Discerning God’s Best Series.
You are eligible if …
- You are an individual of your word.
Accepting a copy means you are trustworthy. I’m entrusting you with a gift that took months of labor and many dollars to complete. The final weeks and days before a launch are hectic, and I need to know I can count on you without reminders.
- You leave reviews on Amazon.
Accepting a copy means you agree to read the book before November 18 and post your review to at least two major sites: Amazon** after release day AND either Goodreads or BookBub as soon as possible. If you are a blogger, you make my heart sing by adding this additional outreach.
- You regularly read Christian Historical Fiction.
Accepting a copy means you enjoy reading Christian Historical Romance. Set in post–Civil War Missouri, this Christmas novella blends quiet romance with deep emotional roots. It features a marriage of convenience, a wounded hero, an unwed mother seeking redemption, and a small town with a big heart. With themes of grace, found family, and slow-burning hope, this story will resonate with readers who appreciate gruff protectors, scandalous pasts, and the healing power of kindness.
- You’re an influencer.
By accepting a copy, you confirm that you have an established platform on social media (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, blog, etc.) and are willing to help spread the word about my new release. Sharing in Facebook Reader Groups when readers are looking for book recommendations that match my novel is also a wonderful way to support this book launch.
*Please note: I cannot provide paperback copies of this book in ARC format.
**You must have spent $50 on Amazon.com, using a credit or debit card, in the past 12 months, to create reviews (including star ratings). For more information to ensure eligibility, please visit: Amazon Community Guidelines for leaving a review
You will receive an eBook copy via BookFunnel by September 26, 2025. Reviews on Goodreads and BookBub should be posted as soon as you finished reading and before the release date of November 18th, if at all possible. Amazon reviews should be posted during release week: November 18 – 25, 2025.
When you receive a book for free (ARC), according to Federal Trade Commission 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising,” you must state on your review that you received a complimentary copy of the book and that a positive review is not required.
Amazon is very particular about phrasing around reviews. Instead of “in exchange for,” you can safely use something like: 1) “I received a complimentary copy, and this is my honest review.” 2) “I was provided a copy of this book, and all opinions are my own.” 3) “I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.” 4) “I was gifted a copy of this book and chose to leave a review.”
These phrasings are FTC-compliant, transparent, and acceptable under Amazon/Goodreads review guidelines.
If you have read this far, you are probably a good fit. Please fill out the questionnaire below. I plan to follow up directly with you by September 26th. Thank you for your time and patience as we prepare our lists. If you have ARC read for me before, please still fill out the form below. Previous ARC readers are automatically accepted – because YOU ARE AWESOME!
New ARC applicants: Please add both of my email address below to your contacts to ensure you don’t miss any updates.
